As I was making my way back from Phoenix I decided to stop in at World Wide Cyclery for a little tour and to get out of the car for a bit. Michael at WWC recommended this trail so that I could spin the bike wheels for a quick ride to break up the long day of driving. With a 6 hour drive in front of me it was really had to pull myself together and muster up the motivation to do the ride instead of just jumping back in the truck and heading home. While mashing the way up the hill I started talking about my weight loss plans for 2018. I'm not a dietitian, I only speak from the experience that I've had. I also purposely simplified things I was talking about just to make them easier to digest...lol, see what I did there? Hopefully this quick chat helps motivate at least one person out there!
I'm just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn't bring myself to buy a road bike just so I could do long road rides that had more climbing than I could handle on the SS. That was my compromise. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
