In this video I head out to Salmon Falls with Moonlight Leatherfoot and we attempt to ride. California has been getting a lot of rain and the cabin fever took over as soon as the sun came back out. We only got a few miles in and decided it was best to turn around. The trail conditions at the beginning were wet but the trail was hard packed underneath. We came to one spot that was really muddy and I ended up going over the bars. We went a little farther to see if that was just one section and as we came to more mud we opted to go back to the truck. I'm sure we'll get back out to Salmon Falls in the near future and I'll be able to give you a more proper trail guide.
I’m just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn’t bring myself to buy a road bike just so I could do long road rides that had more climbing than I could handle on the SS. That was my compromise. I’m originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
