In this video I had the opportunity to ride the Santa Cruz Tallboy and the S010. It was my first time riding a 27.5+ bike. That was really impressive. I can understand why a few months back a few bike shop employees were ranting and raving about them. We rented the bikes at Acme Bikes in San Rafael for $100 each. The guys at the shop were nice and gave us some parking advice, a trail map, and even stayed open a little late since we ended up running a little behind.
I'm just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn't bring myself to buy a road bike. That was my compromise to be able to ride with the lady. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
