B1KER Camp 2018 Jeopardy

The 2018 B1KER Camp Jeopardy was a lot of fun. We had some great prizes from the sponsors. Kali Protectives really dug deep to give the contestants some awesome prizes. Can't speak well enough about their products, but even more about them as a company. Worldwide Cyclery gave some great socks, stickers, and shirts, as well as Handup Gloves taking care of us having cold beer for the night. Sit back, grab a beer, and play along. Those of you that are watching swing by my instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BlwEJRkBHG3/ to be part of the Garmin Fenix 3 giveaway. B1KER Camp 2018 – Second Run – Broken Frame?

B1KER Camp 2018 as a whole was a complete success. Downieville is so much fun.  However making our way through the second run of the day ended up being a little more challenging than we expected.  The moral of the story is get out there and you can accomplish more than what you think may be possible.  While doing that, be mindful of the fact that you can get seriously injured and don't be too proud to get off the bike when it's needed. B1KER Camp 2018 – First Run

I apologize this video took a bit longer than I anticipated. Long story short I wasn't very motivated after Downieville, the holiday, and I had some computer issues. After all that was said and done, we are here. First, I was truly overwhelmed with all of the people that came, the support from the vendors, and the entire group of people was awesome. I hope you all enjoy watching this as much as I had being there. Lost in Tahoe II

There's nothing like waking up in the morning and not knowing where you are at.  Thank GOD I have a keen beer sense.  Oddly enough the usual suspects were out there that day trying to find their way home. Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Handup Gloves

Scott’s Flat Loop

Scott's Flat Loop This ride was a long time in the making.  The 2 previous times I've tried to ride the Hoot Trail & Scott's Flat it was either snowing or muddy.  This time C-lock and I went up with the plan to park at the bottom of Scott's Flat ride the road up, do a few laps on Hoot and ride down the hill to the beers...all of the beers.  Everything went as planned and although while recording I was thinking I wasn't talking much it ended up coming together. RGMTB South Lake Tahoe

Gene from RGMTB (Regular Guy Mountain Biking) was in NorCal for work and was able to get away for a day to come up to South Lake Tahoe with me. We rode Armstrong Pass, Armstrong Connector, and Corral. It ended up being a pretty eventful ride. All in all we came out having a good time and lots of laughs. *Check out Handup Gloves use the code B1kER for 10% off! Dusty Betty Downieville

This day in Downieville was a true adventure.  We knew we were getting out early into the season.  The shuttle weren't rolling yet so we had to self shuttle ourselves up the hill.  However despite a few snow patches in the vehicles and on the trail we made the best of the day.  It was great getting to know Tess and Steve as well as sessioning the some of the features and all the trail banter.  If you haven't seen their channel definitely take a look.  Good times, great trail, awesome people! Zerode Bikes

This was truly a cool experience. It's not often that you get to try something that is a completely new technology. For a long time I've said the derailleurs have got to go. Seeing it actually in production is super cool to me. I wasn't sure what to expect, didn't do any research on the bikes, and just showed up with an open mind and lots of questions. Maui Flow

Thanks to Krank Cycles and Moonlight Leatherfoot for getting married, I ended up getting my first opportunity to ride bike outside the continental US. We hit the Pineapple Express trail at the Makawao Trail System. Although you can't really tell in the edit, the ground was extremely muddy. There had been a huge storm system that just rolled through and the ground didn't have any time to dry out before we were up there trying to make a day of it. EDIT: If you are going to Maui and want to rent a bike definitely check out Krank Cycles.  Awhile back they had a fire and thier location has changed, but I'm sure the service hasn't.
