RGMTB 2017 Santa Cruz Bronson CC MTB | Bike Check w/B1KER

Gene from Regular Guy Mountain Biking (RGMTB) reached out to me to do an interview. I must say I was flabbergasted and honored that he would consider me to do a bike check with. None-the-less, we got together and had a chat about the Bronson that was a lot of fun. He's a good guy that's really easy to talk to. I hope you all enjoy, and take a some time to check out this video! Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Oury Grips

FeiyuTech Gimbal Repair

I haven't done a proper review on the FeiyuTech Gimbal, however, I have had to fix mine a few times and that fix wasn't easily stumbled upon. So the other day when my gimbal did the ole spin-ducky-woo-hoo I decided to set up the camera right there on the trail and show how you can save yourself some money and potentially a little frustration. Hopefully this helps someone out there. I will say attempt this at your own risk, I would imagine it voids the warranty, however in my circumstance the warranty is worthless because it will almost cost me as much for a new FeiyuTech Gimbal than it would to ship it back to China.  If you were wondering where I was, I'm in the middle of the Manzanita Trail in Auburn State Recreation Area.  The trail map is below! Double D

This is one of my go to loops in Auburn. I ended up taking a lot long than I would normally so don't judge me when looking at the Garmin/Strava data. I have been having some lower back issues lately that stem from an old Army injury. None-the-less, between that and having to repair the gimbal on the side of the trail I was really slow. Oh, and to be honest, it was hot as hell so I took a bunch of breaks. Hahahaha, either way every ride is an adventure. The main point of this video was to show you all this route. Up Stage Coach, down Manzanita, Up Stage Coach to Upper Stage Coach, Follow Upper Stage Coach until Flood Trail, hang a left onto Flood Trail, pass Mossy Rock Trail and follow Flood Trail until you get to Stage Coach. Head down Stage Coach to the bottom, and cross the bridge to make a left on Clementine Trail. Climb that past the first gate where the paved road is. Keep climbing up the road until you get to the top where the gate and rocks are. Make a right on Fuel Break and climb the half a…

Trails and Fails

When you set out on a ride you don't always get what you planned for. Trent and I definitely had a case of the shit just ain't going right on this little adventure. We still had a good time and walked away from it with a few good laughs. Plus, we got to ride bikes. Can't go wrong there! Garmin or Strava JPG or PDF IyvX Towelettes

Bumpy Meadows

This was a little add-on exploring we did after the Flemming Meadow trail. I had heard about the trail and just couldn't find much info on it. So we did the climb up the road and went down the trail. Most of it was way over my skillset, however, it was fun to check it out and be able to have something to post to those of you who have balls waaaaay bigger than mine. Flemming Meadow

This trail is called Flemming Meadow, however, I really thing it should be plural for no apparent reason.  It just flows out the mouth better to say Flemming Meadows.  Either way, this ride was introduced to me by a stranger and his wife that just so happen to be sitting next to me at a restaurant.  After the first ride I knew it was going to be on the regular list!  It's a really fun trail that is generally ridden Counter Clockwise.  Maybe one of these days I'll give it a shot the other way.  It's located up in Pollock Pines at Sly Park.  Aside from the climbs it's not a technical trail and is loads of fun.  In my mind after the first climb it's all fun from there. Tamarancho Flow

The gimble catastrophe in the parking lot the week before left me feeling bummed I didn't get good footage of Camp Tamarancho during the Tamarancho Santa Cruz Shootout video.  Fortunately I had the opportunity to be back in the area again and decided there was no way I could pass up the opportunity to ride this trail again...the other direction.  Garmin or
