Living in the Short Bus

I got the chance to meet pro rider Andrew Taylor from Norco Bikes while at the Norco Dealer Event in South Lake Tahoe.  Andrew was a great guy, super easy going, and had this rad bus he was living in.  Let's take a look inside! Skin a bike with Stikrd

In this video I drove down to San Jose to meet up with the guys that founded Stikrd to replace all of the decals on the Bronson. Ever since I got the bike I was not in love with the orange that Santa Cruz put on the bike. However, I'm totally digging the way the bike looks now!!! Silence the Haters – Lube an I9 Hub

After six months of people complaining about the sound of my hub I finally decided to see if I could quite it down a bit. I called Industry Nine and talked to one of the service techs there. He recommended Dumonde Tech PRO X Freehub Oil for regular service, but if you really wanted it quite you could use the Dumonde Tech PRO X Freehub Grease. So I bought both, but decided to go straight to the grease to see how quite that made it. Stop that Squeak – Install New Rotors and Sand Pads

The break squeal/squeak of my SRAM brakes have been annoying the crud out of me since I purchased the bike. I've been trying different things to get them to be quite. It seems like every fix is short lived. I have a theory that the rotors may be heating up too much so I decided to get better ones and to also sand the pads like the shop explained to me. We'll see if this works. Nothing to see here Nothing to see here SRAM CenterLine X Rotor220 Grit SandpaperPark Adjustable Torque Driver

Brush Hero

This thing really blew me away!  I have always looked at the guys with super clean bikes and purely couldn't bring myself to clean my bike that often....or next to never.  I ran into this product when all the Poison Oak was sprouting out here and thought this thing could kill two birds with one stone. ( A: Clean my bike  B: Clean the Poison Oak oil off my bike)  This thing delivered in spades.  I couldn't have  been more pleased with how well this thing worked.  Please don't hesitate to purchase it, I'm telling you without a doubt I recommend this product!  In my video I mentioned that they don't have the duo pack on Amazon, however if you go to their website it is a few bucks cheaper.  www.brushhero.com Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Brush Hero Soap Star Dawn Platinum

Beer Your Bike

Americans are good at spending disposable income on senseless things. Today's video is all about that.  We are beer'ing a bike.  What the heck does that mean?  It means that a mountain biker is always in need of a bottle opener and a constant reminder of the reward at the end of the trail.  So we are installing a bottle opener and a bottle cap holder by Niner that places your favorite beer on your top cap of the stem of your bike. The price of this stuff is not economical but is just flat out fun.  Sometimes you just have to splurge just a little bit just for the sake of a good time.  I hope that this upgrade makes my climbing easier...or at least keeps my motivation up!  Garmin or
