4617 Subscriber Update

Lot's of good stuff in here. Most importantly THANKS! Second is Downieville Updates. Every time I record an update I'm blown away by where the channel has come. Who would have thought an overweight, mediocre riding, old dude would be able to have such an awesome following. Thanks to all of YOU this thing is working. OH, and I forgot to mention in the video. The #OTAB stands for "It only takes a bike"...or beer...or beard...or berm...or any other B word you can come up with. However the first one is what started me using the hashtag. I Quit Recording

My backlog was out of control and it was making me not want to edit. So I decided the best thing to do was quit. However the B1KER shenanigans didn't stop. So here is a pretty raw cut of what went on when I took a littl break from recording every ride I do. Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Nothing to see here

Sedona MTB Fest

Katie and I were fortunate enough to get out to the Sedona MTB Festival this year. What an awesome event!  Norco Bikes invited me to hang out at their tent and put Katie on badass new Norco Range.  Handup Gloves gave me a pair of gloves to demo which was totally unexpected as well as much appreciated. Jeff Lenosky led a group ride that I'm still debating if I was lucky to join in for.  It was awesome to meet so many subscribers, companies, and fellow YouTubers. It was truly one of the best mtb experiences I've had off the trail.  I would highly recommend going to this event. Hidden Falls

I got another taste of riding in the cold weather. OVER IT!!! Otherwise this ride was super fun. I finally got a chance to ride with a subscriber that recently had shoulder surgery. Even though it took a few months to make this ride happen it was worth the wait. Lots of flow in Hidden Falls. If you are going to ride there on a weekend, make sure you reserve your parking before going. The parking sells out and there is not an ability to pay when you get there. VeloFix

I could only look at the Saints in the box for so long until I finally worked up the motivation to put them on the bike. However, I'm very efficient at being lazy and this time I think it really worked out! Thanks to Worldwide Cyclery and Velofix the SCRAM Chipmunks have been executed! Frozen Hoot

This ride is a great example of how well I plan. A few weeks before I rode the Hoot trail and had a blast. It was a muddy ride and I was itching to get back up there and do it again in nicer weather. I knew it wasn't buried under snow yet so we took off. It's a fairly long drive to get up there and it was on the way we noticed the thermometer on the truck just diving. By the time we got there it was snowing. Even though we were not dressed for the ride we dug through our bags and made due with some stuff we had. All in all, it was an adventure and part of why I love mountain biking. Garmin or Strava JPG or PDF Cindy Whitehead Story

Whiskeytown Chimney

Chris (aka: Mountaineese Chris) invited me up to ride some trails up in Whiskeytown. I've heard about riding up there for years but never made the trip before. This day was full of elevation and an awesome waterfall! Garmin or Strava JPG or PDF Nothing to see here

Norco Demo Day

Norco reached out to me to see if I wanted to come lead a ride with them in Rockville. I was excited to get out there and give one of the long travel 29ers a ride. I was super stoked to get a chance to ride the 2018 Norco Range 29er. They showed up with plenty of bikes to go around and a bunch of the B1KER chipmunks showed up for a group ride. Good times were had and cold beers were drank! Garmin or Strava JPG or PDF Norco Bikes

Kali Protectives

I had the opportunity to take a tour of the Kali Headquarters and speak with the head of marketing as well as the founder of the company. Wow, what an awesome experience. I'll be honest I didn't know them or their products before I walked in the door but by the time I walked out I was super stoked about who they are, what they stand for, and am really excited to be trying out some of their products. They also have extended a 15% discount to anyone who watches my channel and an even better one to the Patrons! If you want 15% off use this link: kaliB1KER15 or just go to the site and enter the coupon code kaliB1KER15.  If you'd like to save even more money at Kali as well as some other vendors I've worked out some deals with head over to the B1KER Patreon.  The goal there is to build enough discounts that being a Patron will pay for itself.  All membership levels have access to the coupons.  Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Kali 15% OffB1KER Patreon
