Frozen Hoot

This ride is a great example of how well I plan. A few weeks before I rode the Hoot trail and had a blast. It was a muddy ride and I was itching to get back up there and do it again in nicer weather. I knew it wasn't buried under snow yet so we took off. It's a fairly long drive to get up there and it was on the way we noticed the thermometer on the truck just diving. By the time we got there it was snowing. Even though we were not dressed for the ride we dug through our bags and made due with some stuff we had. All in all, it was an adventure and part of why I love mountain biking.

I'm just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn't bring myself to buy a road bike. That was my compromise to be able to ride with the lady. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
