Tamarancho Santa Cruz Shootout

In this video I had the opportunity to ride the Santa Cruz Tallboy and the S010. It was my first time riding a 27.5+ bike. That was really impressive. I can understand why a few months back a few bike shop employees were ranting and raving about them. We rented the bikes at Acme Bikes in San Rafael for $100 each. The guys at the shop were nice and gave us some parking advice, a trail map, and even stayed open a little late since we ended up running a little behind. What’s in My Bag?

I opened up the Camelbak and took a look at what I was carrying on all of my rides.  I gave a little reasoning on why I was carrying what I do and hopefully it's of some value to all of you out there! 2017 Bronson Bike Check

Now that I've had the bike for a while I figured it was about time I did a bike check video. That plus the other video I was going to make I wasn't going to be on the Bronson...so that really wasn't my go to bike after not riding for the last month. The Bronson still has that new bike allure! Either way, the days are getting longer and I'm able to squeeze in rides after work. That's exciting. I couldn't pull it together to do the night rides this year since the temps were a bit lower than what I'm willing to ride in. I played fair weather rider this season. I made it out to Rockville with a co-worker. Things didn't go exactly as planned, but at the end of the day, any time on the dirt is a good time.  Sorry about the Garmin/Strava data.  I forgot to stop my Garmin when I got back to the truck. 77 Subscriber Update

Tonight I put together my 77 subscriber update! Totally had fun doing it. It was a 7 for 7 update. That means I answered 7 questions and asked 7 questions. I'm looking forward to hearing some answers to the questions I asked and hope you enjoyed the 7 I picked for you guys. Feel free to ask me more questions in the comments so I don't have to make them up on my own! Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival

Sweetwater Dead Gimble

This ride was a bit of an adventure. Definitely not the ride we thought we were going on. There ended up being a bunch of downed trees covering the trail. We moved the ones we could and apparently weren't paying attention to time. Before we realized it the sun was setting and we were racing the clock to get back to the truck. Racing Mother Nature

I tried to squeeze in a ride during a short break in the weather. I basically got done with most of the climbing and the rain started to come. I did my best to still get the ride in I was shooting for. Either way, I had a good day even though my motivation wasn't super high. The route was Clementine Trail > Connector > FHD Road > FHDL > Connector > Fuel Break > FHD Road > Bridgeview Trail > Mossy Rock > Flood Trail > Stagecoach.
