B1KER Bar Ep. 37 – Charlie Kelly

Charlie Kelly isn't always a name that is widely known in today's mountain bike culture. However he is quite possibly the sole inventor of what is modern day downhill racing. On this episode we go from a few long haired hippies racing each other down the trail for bragging rights to riding today's bikes with modern technology. Most of the people that Charlie refers to by their first name are guys that have built companies that are widely known in the mountain bike industry. This interview is hands down my favorite conversation I've had in all of the time I've done my channel. It was truly a pleasure to have the opportunity to sit down and chat with a guy who was part of building this great sport that I enjoy. RC from the Outdoor Gold YouTube channel is a great guy. His channel's content is primarily mountain bike oriented, however, that wasn't ..... and still isn't the goal. Tune in for some great conversation that's not all YouTube based. This interview went more off topic than most do but was a pretty fun one. I also tested out some new lighting. You guys will have to let me know what you think. Keep it or Leave it? Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Outdoor Gold

Tuck and Roll

I've known Eric from No Front Brakes for quite some time, however, we've only hung out online. I finally got a chance to have a beer with him in person and more importantly ride some bikes together. I've seen a bunch of videos popping up about the recently opened Spider Mountain and we decided to shoot over there for a fun day of lift access. This is not the full cut of the day, but I put it together so Eric could see some of the highlights of what I caught that day. I hope you all enjoy.
