I reached out to MTB Savant to get together and ride while I was in his neck of the woods. Unfortunately MTB Savant ran into some problems and couldn't make it last minute. Fortunately, Steve Y had came out to meet with the both of us and was there to show me around. I'd say if you are going to go, take a map, or use Trailforks/MTB Project because it's definitely a spiderweb of trails in this system.
I'm just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn't bring myself to buy a road bike just so I could do long road rides that had more climbing than I could handle on the SS. That was my compromise. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
