Last year when I met Tess and Steve from Dusty Betty I didn't know that I was going to have the best ride of the year with them. When I say best ride, it's not always the terrain, or the views, it's the people. The two of them are super cool, laid back, and cherish the same type of riding I do. Aside from that they live in a 25' trailer traveling around the US chasing 70 degree weather. Raising thier daughter, riding mountain bikes, and making YouTube content.
I'm just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn't bring myself to buy a road bike. That was my compromise to be able to ride with the lady. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
