Have you ever had one of those rides that just got in your head? Maybe you weren't riding that bad but to you, it was just demoralizing. I felt like that for a decent part of this ride and this video was edited in a manner to capture that the best I could. I chose the music specifically to set that mood. I wanted to capture the way I was feeling and even though watching the footage I wasn’t horribly pathetic I really felt that way. My initial thought is this video will bomb because it’s not happy go lucky. We’ll see. Hopefully those of you that make it to the end will be inspired. I think we’ve all had rides like this and thought it would be unique to capture rather than pretend it doesn’t happen. Where was the last ride you had like this and what did you do to overcome it?
The Trail that Broke Me
I'm just a guy in Northern California that loves riding bikes. Most of my time is spent on a mountain bike. I also own a single speed for around town and commuting. Last but not least I own a cross bike. I couldn't bring myself to buy a road bike. That was my compromise to be able to ride with the lady. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have that blunt east coast attitude. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I wake up in the morning.
