B1KER Bar Ep. 29 – Hardtail Party

Steve is one of those people that has so much knowledge about bikes it's super fun to pick his brain. After successfully being a part of The More We Explore, and Dusty Betty, he has decided to take his love for hard tails and YouTube and start his own adventure. We talk about the why he'd decided to do that, but mostly we just talk about bikes! Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Hardtail Party Dusty Betty The More We Explore

B1KER Bar Ep. 28 – Dusty Betty

Last year when I met Tess and Steve from Dusty Betty I didn't know that I was going to have the best ride of the year with them. When I say best ride, it's not always the terrain, or the views, it's the people. The two of them are super cool, laid back, and cherish the same type of riding I do. Aside from that they live in a 25' trailer traveling around the US chasing 70 degree weather. Raising thier daughter, riding mountain bikes, and making YouTube content. B1KER Bar Ep. 25 – Cushcore

Cushcore has become the industry leading tire insert in the mountain bike community. Some may argue that, but in my experience I have only ran into a few people that have decided to use one of the competitors. Dan is the head of marketing at Cushcore and was gracious enough to sit down with us to tell us how the product differs from a pool noodle, is an excellent tool to increase your cornering ability, and how it actually causes you to use less suspension while adding comfort to your ride. B1KER Bar Ep. 24 – Pedaling Innovations

The man who invented the Pedaling Innovations pedals is a regular mountain biker like the rest of us.  Yes he has worked as a trainer for many professional athletes including the new well known Aaron Gwin.  Yes he's been in the bike industry for quite some time.  But it was just a simple question boggling his mind on the trail during a ride that spawned this company.  He was thinking to himself why he needed stiff shoes and a clipless system for good pedaling efficiency but didn't need shoes in the gym. The answer is actually pretty damn logical.  We talk about this and a lot more in this episode of the B1KER Bar. *** Unfortunately there was a huge storm passing through Northern California and my power dropped during the show...twice.  Bare with it on the video and I come back online. I edited it out of the Podcast version. Sorry, apparently Mother Nature doesn't watch the show.*** Nothing to see here Nothing to see here Pedaling Innovations

Motorcycle vs. Mountain Bike

Today you'll find out which is better to ride at an OHV park. A motorcycle or a mountain bike. If you aren't familiar with the Mammouth Bar OHV park in Auburn California everything you need to know is in this video. Mammouth Bar is a fun way to spice up the regular Auburn trail system. I heard about it for a long time, but never ventured over there. Now that I know my way around I'm kicking myself in the butt for not riding over there sooner. GarminorStrava JPG or PDF Industry Nine

B1KER Bar Ep. 23 – The Crashing Dad

Sheyn from The Crashing Dad YouTube channel has been quite the example for those of you wanting to make progression in your riding. Just two years ago Sheyn was a road biker/triathlete and somehow decided to take the leap into mountain biking. By watching some of his latest videos you wouldn't think he's only been doing this for two years. Between a full time job, a wife, and two young children he finds the time to run a popular YouTube channel. His story is interesting and for those of you that follow his channel this will be fun to learn more about the man behind the curtain. Nothing to see here Nothing to see here The Crashing Dad

B1KER Bar Ep. 22 – Mountain Biker’s Wish List

Since it's the holiday season I figured it would be fun to talk about things on a Mountain Biker's Wish List. Unfortunately at the last minute a couple of guests couldn't make it on the show. Fortunately Horn's High Mountain Biking and I are both blessed with the gift of gab and ended up pulling it together.
